Activision has announced that those who pre-order their upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan game from GameStop (or EB Games if you’re in Canada) will receive the above cosmetic character downloadable content that will allow players to garb each of the Fab Four in attire that strongly resembles the “Rock ‘n Rollin'” line of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures from 1991 — save for Raphael, anyway. Unfortunately, the pictures don’t reveal if they’ll be wielding their instrument-based weapons when using these skins.
Meanwhile, those who elect to pre-order the game digitally from either the PlayStation Store, Xbox Games Store, or Steam will instead get a set of four distinct Samurai outfits for the green teens. The Turtles have adopted such armor numerous times over their long and stories existence, so I’m not sure whether these reflect any particular story or figures (I’m still catching up on the new IDW comics upon which the game seems to be based), though you can rule out Leo’s “Disguised Turtles” figure and the third movie line.
